CD PROJEKT RED erhält weiteren Partner für Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt Red hat eine weitere Partnerschaft angekündigt. Dieses Mal wird das Studio Digital Scapes, welches sich in Vancouver (Kanada) befindet, mit auf's Board geholt, um an Cyberpunk 2077 mitzuwirken. Das Studio wurde von "industry veterans" gegründet welche bereits Teil von Bioware, Radical Entertainment und Relic waren.

"Digital Scapes is an ambitious video game development studio specialising in AAA multiplayer console and PC game development, development tool creation, asset production, and cloud computing. Digital Scapes team members worked on blockbuster game series like Company of Heroes, Warhammer 40,000, Dying Light, Prototype, and more.", heißt es offiziell dazu. 

In welcher Art und Weise das Studio genau an Cyberpunk 2077 mitwirkt ist leider noch nicht bekannt, aber vielleicht kann ja auf ein Multiplayer spekuliert werden? Wir dürfen sicherlich auf weitere Infos diesbezüglich gespannt sein.

Beide Parteien äußerte sich natürlich positiv zu Partnerschaft. "Cyberpunk 2077 is our most ambitious project to date and we work hard every day to make it a creative and technological achievement. The Digital Scapes team brings aboard a lot of talent, experience and technical knowledge, and I’m very confident our long-term cooperation will add plenty to the game," sagte Micha? Nowakowski (SVP Business Development, CD PROJEKT RED) dazu. Marcin Chady (Studio Head, Digital Scapes) äußerte sich wie folgt: "We are both excited and honoured to work with CD PROJEKT RED. Their incredibly creative and accomplished team of developers have been pushing narrative-driven, role-playing games to unprecedented levels. We look forward to helping them create the very best video games on the planet."

Außerdem heißt es, dass Digital Scapes bei "creating and optimizing technological solutions for use in the development of Cyberpunk 2077" helfen soll. Wir durften das Spiel bereits auf der Gamescom 2018 uns anschauen und sind sehr begeistert aus der Hands-Off Demo raus gekommen.
