Frostpunk: Console Edition erscheint im Sommer

Von dem polnischen Entwicklerstudio 11bit, die auch die Verantworlichen für This War of Mine sind, kam nun die Bestätigung. Alle Fans dürfen sich freuen, denn im Sommer dieses Jahres kommt der gefeierte Titel Frostpunkt, welcher bisher nur für PC verfügbar war.

In einem Survival der besonderen Art muss der Spieler seine Bevölkerung in einer postapokalyptischen Eiszeit zum Überleben führen. Dabei ist es entscheidend welche Entscheidungen gefallen werden. Fällt die Gunst des Volkes unter einen bestimmten Punkt ist die Herrschaft vorbei und, je nach Spielverlauf, auch die Zeit des Herrschers. Einzig und allein die richtigen Technologien, Forschungen und Entscheidungen können das Überleben beider Parteien sichern. Doch dafür sitzt einem gefühlt jederzeit die Deadline im Nacken.

Die Entwickler gaben bekannt, dass die Adaptation "finely tuned" daherkommen soll. Gleichzeitig sind alle bisher erschienenen Inhalte von vornherein mit am Start. "Frostpunk: Console Edition will contain all the previous free updates from the PC version including The Fall of Winterhome scenario, additional customization options, difficulty settings, and balance tweaks. Furthermore, additional content updates are planned for the future."
