Geralt aus The Witcher kämpft in SoulCalibur VI mit
Bandai Namco und CD Projekt Red bringen in einer Zusammenarbeit Geralt in SoulCalibur VI ein. Spieler die Geralt als Kämpfer wählen können sich auf "a combination of swordplay, ability-enhancing potions, and combat magic", freuen. Die englische Stimme von Geralt, Doug Cockle, wird ebenfalls die Stimme in SoulCalibur VI übernehmen. Außerdem die Komposition "Hunt or be Hunted" aus The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt zu hören sein. "Kaer Morhen — home keep of the School of the Wolf." wird als ebenfalls als Kampfschauplatz geben.
“SOULCALIBUR is well known in the fighting games genre for including iconic guest characters. When we were approached with the idea of doing a crossover, we thought our community would really enjoy playing as the witcher,” sagte Marcin Momot (Community Lead CD PROJEKT RED) dazu. “We’ve collaborated with BANDAI NAMCO artists to faithfully recreate Geralt, and shared original Witcher 3 assets like Geralt’s model, animations, and weapons. I think BANDAI NAMCO did an outstanding job of capturing all the details and introducing The Witcher to SOULCALIBUR in a way fans of both series will enjoy.”, fügte er weiter hinzu.

Neben den berühmten Schwertern wird Gerald auch auf seine Signs zurückgreifen können. "On top of his swords, Geralt enters the ring armed with powerful Signs. From Aard to Igni, Geralt has the ability to unleash the devastating effects of Signs during one-on-one combat. Each Sign provides a different strategic opportunity to best your opponent or start powerful combos.", schrieb Dalton Link (Social Media und Community Manager Bandai Namco America) auf dem US Playstation Blog dazu.
Im neuen Gameplay Trailer könnt ihr Geralt in Aktion sehen wie er gegen Nightmare und Mitsurugi in der Kaer Morhen Arena bekämpft. Geralt gesellt sich zu einem großen Kreis an bekannten Cross-Overs. The Legend of Zelda’s Link, Todd McFarlane’s Spawn, Star Wars’ Darth Vader und Yoda wie auch Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio waren auch bereits in anderen SoulCalibur Teilen zu finden.
